0767e95bb9 ALSA: seq-dummy: remove deadlock-causing events on close
When the last subscriber to a "Through" port has been removed, the
subscribed destination ports might still be active, so it would be
wrong to send "all sounds off" and "reset controller" events to them.
The proper place for such a shutdown would be the closing of the actual
MIDI port (and close_substream() in rawmidi.c already can do this).

This also fixes a deadlock when dummy_unuse() tries to send events to
its own port that is already locked because it is being freed.

35577079b9 iommu/tegra: gart: Provide default ->map_sg() callback
Commit 315786ebbf ("iommu: Add iommu_map_sg() function") adds a new
->map_sg() callback and provides a default implementation that drivers
can use until they implement a hardware-specific variant. Unfortunately
the Tegra GART driver was not updated as part of that commit, so that
iommu_map_sg() calls on a domain provided by the GART cause an oops.

There's a lot more fixes here than I'd like since I've been lax in
sending things throughout the release cycle but there's only two in

 hopefully on balance are OK.

The two generic fixes are a fix for crashes on capture DAIs in the

have been harmless in the past but now oopses with the new dynamic probe
 code.

860cd64d10 iommu: Fix trace_map() to report original iova and original size
iommu_map() calls trace_map() with iova and size. trace_map()
should report original iova and original size as opposed to
iova and size after they get changed during mapping. size is
always zero at the end of mapping which is useless to report
and iova as it gets incremented, it is not as useful as the
original iova. Change iommu_map() to call trace_map() to

894acb2f82 i2c: designware: Add Intel Baytrail PMIC I2C bus support
This patch implements an I2C bus sharing mechanism between the host and platform
hardware on select Intel BayTrail SoC platforms using the X-Powers AXP288 PMIC.

On these platforms access to the PMIC must be shared with platform hardware. The
hardware unit assumes full control of the I2C bus and the host must request
access through a special semaphore. Hardware control of the bus also makes it
necessary to disable runtime pm to avoid interfering with hardware transactions.

2276b5116e KVM: x86: ARPL emulation can cause spurious exceptions
ARPL and MOVSXD are encoded the same and their execution depends on the
execution mode. The operand sizes of each instruction are different.
Currently, ARPL is detected too late, after the decoding was already done, and

Introduce a group to the emulator to handle instructions according to execution

d7eb4f2ecc irqchip: mips-gic: Handle pending interrupts once in __gic_irq_dispatch()
When an interrupt occurs __gic_irq_dispatch() continuously reads local
and shared pending registers until all is serviced before
returning. The problem with that is that it could introduce a long
delay before returning if a piece of hardware keeps triggering while
in one of these loops.

To ensure fairness and priority doesn't get skewed a lot, read local
and shared pending registers once to service each pending IRQ once.
If another interupt triggers while servicing the current ones, then we
shall re-enter the handler after we return.

8041dfbd31 irqchip: Conexant CX92755 interrupts controller driver
Add interrupt controller driver to the Conexant CX92755 SoC, part of the
Digicolor SoCs series. Use the generic irq framework support. Use syscon to
access the system global UC_IRQ_CONTROL register.

19f92b237b irqchip: omap-intc: Fix support for dm814 and dm816
On dm81xx we have 128 interrupts like am33xx has. Let's add
compatible flags for dm814x and dm816x, and document the
existing binding.

As the dm81xx are booting in device tree only mode, we can now
also remove ti81xx_init_irq() legacy function.

cdb647a772 irqchip: mtk-sysirq: Get irq number from register resource size
Originally mtk-sysirq hardcoded supported irq number to 224. This
was fine since all SoCs before support the same number of irqs for
intpol.

However MT8173 intpol support 32 more irq pins, changes to get
irq number from register resource size to suppor MT8173 properly.
