As Skyhawk and BE3-R (both multi-function devices) don't advertise the
PCI-ACS capability, the vfio driver places all the functions of these
devices in a single IOMMU group. Attaching (via PCI-passthru) two
different Skyhawk/BE3-R partitions (nPAR, Flex, etc. PFs) using vfio, to
different guests doesn't work as vfio only allows functions in *different*
IOMMU groups to be assigned to different guests.
As peer-to-peer access between PFs in Skyhawk/BE3-R is not possible, we can
treat them as "fully isolated" even though the device doesn't advertise
ACS. Add a PCI quirk for Skyhawk and BE3-R chips to fix this problem.

When booting with EFI, we acquire the EFI memory map after parsing the
early params. This unfortuantely renders the option useless as we call
memblock_enforce_memory_limit (which uses memblock_remove_range behind
the scenes) before we've added any memblocks. We end up removing
nothing, then adding all of memory later when efi_init calls
reserve_regions.
Instead, we can log the limit and apply this later when we do the rest
of the memblock work in memblock_init, which should work regardless of
the presence of EFI. At the same time we may as well move the early
parameter into arm64's mm/init.c, close to arm64_memblock_init.
Any memory which must be mapped (e.g. for use by EFI runtime services)
must be mapped explicitly reather than relying on the linear mapping,
which may be truncated as a result of a mem= option passed on the kernel
command line.

When remapping the UEFI memory map using ioremap_cache(), we
have to deal with potential failure. Note that, even if the
common case is for ioremap_cache() to return the existing linear

Some AMD/ATI GPUs report NoSoftRst- to indicate that they perform a reset
when software transitions them from D3hot to D0, but there is no apparent
effect on the device: the monitor remains synced and the framebuffer
contents are retained.
Callers of pci_reset_function() don't necessarily have a way to validate
whether a reset was effective, so we don't want to rely on NoSoftRst if
it's known to be inaccurate. Returning an error in such cases appears to
be the better option. For users like vfio-pci, this allows the driver to
escalate to the bus reset interfaces.
If a device lives on the root bus, there's really no further
escalation path, so we exempt PM reset as potentially better than
nothing.

Per the PCI Power Management spec r1.2, sec 3.2.4, a device that advertises
No_Soft_Reset == 0 in the PMCSR register (reported by lspci as "NoSoftRst-")
should perform an internal reset when transitioning from D3hot to D0 via
software control. Configuration context is lost and the device requires a
full reinitialization sequence.
Unfortunately the definition of "internal reset", beyond the application of
the configuration context, is largely left to the interpretation of the
specific device. Some devices don't seem to perform an "internal reset"
even if they report No_Soft_Reset == 0.
We still need to honor the PCI specification and restore PCI config context
in the event that we do a PM reset, so we don't cache and modify the
PCI_PM_CTRL_NO_SOFT_RESET bit for the device, but for interfaces where the
intention is to reset the device, like pci_reset_function(), we need a
mechanism to flag that PM reset (a D3hot->D0 transition) doesn't perform
any significant "internal reset" of the device.

Add pci_claim_bridge_resource() to claim a PCI-PCI bridge window. This is
like regular pci_claim_resource(), except that if we fail to claim the
window, we check to see if we can reduce the size of the window and try
again.
This is for scenarios like this:
pci_bus 0000:00: root bus resource [mem 0xc0000000-0xffffffff]
pci 0000:00:01.0: bridge window [mem 0xbdf00000-0xddefffff 64bit pref]
pci 0000:01:00.0: reg 0x10: [mem 0xc0000000-0xcfffffff pref]
The 00:01.0 window is illegal: it starts before the host bridge window, so
we have to assume the [0xbdf00000-0xbfffffff] region is inaccessible. We
can make it legal by clipping it to [mem 0xc0000000-0xddefffff 64bit pref].
Previously we discarded the 00:01.0 window and tried to reassign that part
of the hierarchy from scratch. That is a problem because Linux doesn't
always assign things optimally. For example, in this case, BIOS put the
01:00.0 device in a prefetchable window below 4GB, but after 5b28541552,
Linux puts the prefetchable window above 4GB where the 32-bit 01:00.0
device can't use it.
Clipping the 00:01.0 window is less intrusive than completely reassigning
things and is sufficient to let us use most of the BIOS configuration. Of
course, it's possible that devices below 00:01.0 will no longer fit. If
that's the case, we'll have to reassign things. But that's a separate
problem.

pci_setup_bridge_io(), pci_setup_bridge_mmio(), and
pci_setup_bridge_mmio_pref() program the windows of PCI-PCI bridges.
Previously they accepted a pointer to the pci_bus of the secondary bus,
then looked up the bridge leading to that bus. Pass the bridge directly,
which will make it more convenient for future callers.
No functional change.

Reports against the TL-WDN4800 card indicate that PCI bus reset of this
Atheros device cause system lock-ups and resets. I've also been able to
confirm this behavior on multiple systems. The device never returns from
reset and attempts to access config space of the device after reset result
in hangs. Blacklist bus reset for the device to avoid this issue.

Enable a mechanism for devices to quirk that they do not behave when
doing a PCI bus reset. We require a modest level of spec compliant
behavior in order to do a reset, for instance the device should come
out of reset without throwing errors and PCI config space should be
accessible after reset. This is too much to ask for some devices.

Devices such as the system DMA controller are connected to multiple
micro TLBs of the same IOMMU. Support this.
Selective enabling of micro TLBs based on runtime device usage isn't
possible at the moment due to lack of support in the IOMMU and DMA
mapping APIs. Support for devices connected to different IOMMUs is also
unsupported for the same reason.

The TLB must be invalidated after unmapping memory to remove stale TLB
entries. this was supposed to be performed already, but a bug in the
driver prevented the TLB invalidate function from being called. Fix it.

When clearing PUD or PMD entries the child page table (if any) is freed
and the PUD or PMD entry is then cleared. This result in a small race
condition window during which a free page table could be accessed by the
IPMMU.
Fix it by clearing and flushing the PUD or PMD entry before freeing the
child page table.

The ARM IOMMU mapping needs to be released when attaching the device
fails. Add arm_iommu_release_mapping() to the error code path. This is
safe to call with a NULL mapping, so no specific check is needed.
Cleanup is also missing when failing to create a mapping. Jump to the
error code path in that case instead of returning immediately.

There is an external resistor divider on PB16, acting like a pull-down,
the pull-up increase power consumption and prevent the vbus detect pin
to reach Vss voltage, ~1.5V mesured on my board, it might not even work
if the pull-up is stronger than usual.

This code was restored with commit 080fc66fb5 ("ARM: Bring back ARMv3 IO
and user access code") because the RiscPC memory bus does not understand
half-word load/stores. However only the IO code needed restoring since
the alternative user access code contains no half-word accesses, is
already used when CONFIG_PREEMPT is set and runs faster on a StrongARM.

Exynos4 SoCs equipped with an L2C-310 cache controller and running under
secure firmware require certain registers of aforementioned IP to be
accessed only from secure mode. This means that SMC calls are required
for certain register writes. To handle this, an implementation of
.write_sec and .configure callbacks is provided by this patch.

Firmware on certain boards (e.g. ODROID-U3) can leave incorrect L2C prefetch
settings configured in registers leading to crashes if L2C is enabled
without overriding them. This patch introduces bindings to enable
prefetch settings to be specified from DT and necessary support in the
driver.

Certain platforms (i.e. Exynos) might need to set .write_sec callback
from firmware initialization which is happenning in .init_early callback
of machine descriptor. However current code will overwrite the pointer
with whatever is present in machine descriptor, even though it can be
already set earlier. This patch fixes this by making the assignment
conditional, depending on whether current .write_sec callback is NULL.

Because certain secure hypervisor do not allow writes to individual L2C
registers, but rather expect set of parameters to be passed as argument
to secure monitor calls, there is a need to provide an interface for the
L2C driver to ask the firmware to configure the hardware according to
specified parameters. This patch adds such.

Certain implementations of secure hypervisors (namely the one found on
Samsung Exynos-based boards) do not provide access to individual L2C
registers. This makes the .write_sec()-based interface insufficient and
provoking ugly hacks.
This patch is first step to make the driver not rely on availability of
writes to individual registers. This is achieved by refactoring the
driver to use a commit-like operation scheme: all register values are
prepared first and stored in an instance of l2x0_regs struct and then a
single callback is responsible to flush those values to the hardware.

All four register for latency and filter settings cannot be written in
non-secure mode and they should go through l2c_write_sec(). More on this
can be found in CoreLink Level 2 Cache Controller L2C-310 Technical
Reference Manual, 3.2. Register summary, table 3.1. This have been checked
the TRM for r3p3, but it should be uniform for all revisions.

This patch partially reverts commit 421520ba98
(only the arm64 part). There is no guarantee that the boot-loader places other
images like dtb in a different page than initrd start/end, especially when the
kernel is built with 64KB pages. When this happens, such pages must not be
freed. The free_reserved_area() already takes care of rounding up "start" and
rounding down "end" to avoid freeing partially used pages.

This patch enables ARMv8 ditry page logging support. Plugs ARMv8 into generic
layer through Kconfig symbol, and drops earlier ARM64 constraints to enable
logging at architecture layer.

This patch adds arm64 helpers to write protect pmds/ptes and retrieve
permissions while logging dirty pages. Also adds prototype to write protect
a memory slot and adds a pmd define to check for read-only pmds.

This patch adds support for 2nd stage page fault handling while dirty page
logging. On huge page faults, huge pages are dissolved to normal pages, and
rebuilding of 2nd stage huge pages is blocked. In case migration is
canceled this restriction is removed and huge pages may be rebuilt again.
