Kernel Source and devicetree for NOTHING Phone(3a) and Phone(3a)Pro
GCC 11 has introduced a new warning option, -Wtsan [1], to warn about unsupported operations in the TSan runtime. But KCSAN != TSan runtime, so none of the warnings apply. [1] https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc-11.1.0/gcc/Warning-Options.html Ignore the warnings. Currently the warning only fires in the test for __atomic_thread_fence(): kernel/kcsan/kcsan_test.c: In function ‘test_atomic_builtins’: kernel/kcsan/kcsan_test.c🔢17: warning: ‘atomic_thread_fence’ is not supported with ‘-fsanitize=thread’ [-Wtsan] 1234 | __atomic_thread_fence(__ATOMIC_SEQ_CST); | ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ which exists to ensure the KCSAN runtime keeps supporting the builtin instrumentation. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
