There can be a race, if receive_buf call comes before tty initialization completes in n_tty_open and tty->disc_data may be NULL. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``.
