Kernel Source and devicetree for NOTHING Phone(3a) and Phone(3a)Pro
ALSA sequencer core initializes the event pool on demand by invoking snd_seq_pool_init() when the first write happens and the pool is empty. Meanwhile user can reset the pool size manually via ioctl concurrently, and this may lead to UAF or out-of-bound accesses since the function tries to vmalloc / vfree the buffer. A simple fix is to just wrap the snd_seq_pool_init() call with the recently introduced client->ioctl_mutex; as the calls for snd_seq_pool_init() from other side are always protected with this mutex, we can avoid the race. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
