asym_tpm keys are tied to TPM v1.2, which uses outdated crypto and has been deprecated in favor of TPM v2.0 for over 7 years. A very quick look at this code also immediately found some memory safety bugs (https://lore.kernel.org/r/20220113235440.90439-2-ebiggers@kernel.org). Note that this code is reachable by unprivileged users. According to Jarkko (one of the keyrings subsystem maintainers), this code has no practical use cases, and he isn't willing to maintain it (https://lore.kernel.org/r/YfFZPbKkgYJGWu1Q@iki.fi). Therefore, let's remove it. Note that this feature didn't have any documentation or tests, so we don't need to worry about removing those. Linux kernel

There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
